Along the lines of the 'Where is Celmo?' thread i was wondering where the fab DeFex had got to. i tried mailing him a while back with no response. i love Sonic Attack and the other whacked-out stuff he did, would love to see the earlier stuff updated to SFP3.1c.
Shame that it seems that some are dropping out of SFP development as things have actually picked up since SFP3.1c. Glad that others that dropped out are back again (ie. Stephen Hummel).

right now I'm making maps for "battlefield 1942" i get thanks and credit for it
and also I'm in a long hours sucky job trying to make ends meet, i don't have time to produce devices.
if a time comes again where i have enough time i will update everything and make new stuff

To my concern, you did already more than you should for the comunity... If you never do anything again, it´s not just fine, but perfectly understandable... The only problem is that we´ve got used to your incredibly innovative and creative devices, and with newer SFP releases, we perhaps may not be able to keep using them any longer. For the rest of it, just a BIG, BIG,
BIG THANK YOU for your passion, your interest and your love for music!

Yeah, no one else makes devices that scream like a little girl (I'll make a sample when my studio's back on line... it really sounds like kids in my neighborhood). It's pretty impressive in an earsplitting kind of way.
And hey... Thanks a bunch for what you've done thus far. We pray for you to become independantly wealthy so you can pick up where you left off.

if i find i cant ever make any more new devices, i will give my work to a trustrorthy other scope developer. (maybe the one that buys ny "scope" if it becomes that hard) it will not be lost.
