hello everyone.
i think i covered my question in the subject so if anyone could help me with this i'll be glad.
BTW my board is asus p4pe and i thinh that this message come from the board .

Yes, it comes from the board... I can't really help you, but I know you can desable it, so no problem... You just need to find how... :lol:

I'm going to get the same MOBO than you in days, so I'm going to be reading what you have done to get read of it... The interesting point is that you can actually record your own voice, or whatever you like.

Woudn't it be cool to say something like:

"Here I am, ready for the best music in the world", or something like that? :smile:

You can disable the Voice POST Reporter on the BIOS.

Advanced
I/O Device Configuration
Speech POST Reporter [Disabled/Enabled]

Actually Nestor wasn't joking I think. Included with the mobo on the driverCD you get a program that let's you flash the post-reporterchip and you can have it say anything you want. :grin: :grin: Now ain't that cool :grin: :grin:

I'm already thinking I'm going to introduce some sort of magical music background with a strong electronic voice, like the PC presenting himself, that will impress potencial costumers... If they are stupid costumers of course... :lol:

BTW,is it a mono or a stereo file which is allowed? And how many seconds can you record onto it?
