Hello!

I was wondering how can one know that there was not any digital over in the AD conversion with the onboard converters on Pulsar, since there is not any leds?

Thank you

Gary wants to say: Digital over makes such terrible noises, you'll hear it without a doubt.

more precisely: unlike with tape (analog) recording there is no overload headroom, 0db is the max, otherwise you immediately get distortion, and this (digital) distortion is (mostly) ugly.
But you prob knew this already

If you run your signals into meters (like the controll room device), you will see, if there has been any very close calls/overs. Some recording programs leads you to the highest peak in a file if asked nicely. In others you will have to look at the wave file.
