How can I use the mod wheel on my synth to control the cutoff on, say, the Inferno, without awful zipper noise? I can hear the graduations as the filter closes and it bugs me.
If it was me, I wouldn't even bother with the Inferno and would go straight for the Saturn or UKNOW, both of which have the "smoothed" filter cutoff knobs (if my memory serves me correctly here)It takes a tiny bit more DSP to smooth parameters and the developer has to do it.
You might try connecting up the MIDI output on the Pulsar synth module that's giving you troubles, to the Sequencer Destination and record the movements done with your mouse -- that MIGHT fix the problem, but I haven't tested it yet
Something tells me that may not work though either. Using another synth or an external filter like ZFilter might be your only option.
