Then I spent 45mins trying to work out the time signature (which turned out to be 5/4) ROFL.
I used Celmo's GAM again for guitar, STS4000 for drum tracks and sampled synth sounds - that's it.
I wanted to try and get a "real drummer" sound - but I think I ended up with some kind of "ALIEN OCTO-PUS"

EDIT: I discovered this lying around with no comments - can't have that!!!

Very nice, I enjoyed it a lot, it makes me imaging playing something on it, but maybe it should just stay minimal as is...

Reminds me of King Crimson but less complex. I like the reverb.

If you really want to then I can send you the file. I can't take it anywhere else - so if you can . . .

well, the intro sound is great, I would take that to start from, and alienate a bit the sound of the guitars and specially the drums.
Changing the drumsounds into some grunchier and weirtder stuff would create a new atmosphere.
I would also cut the highs drastically from the reverb, you'll get more space (room) if you keep the highs out of it coz they stay close whyle the lower freqs sound large  !
The guitar you could f.i. route to an audio input of a (soft)synth, to give it a 'filter layer'.
Ok, it's taste, if you like to stay close to 'normal' rock sounds it's ok, just some ideas

I like those ideas indeed ...
I might like it more myself if it wasn't trad rock

My mailbox is not that capable...
If you go to #pulsarmusic we could try a DCC transfer...or if you have a webspace I could download...

Ok I'll just send you a mail so we can communicate better

you have nothing to loose, whyle Alfonso is bussy with it
the idea was that if you 'can't take it elsewhere', you probably need fresh inspiration, as you know already too good where it's leading to.
You need a band for that
It could be a real trip tho, loading samples and see what happens...
cheers.

Please don't take me the wrong way hubird - I'm very excited to take it in a new direction - I really do like your suggestions and I also like the idea of Alfonso having a go at playing something over the top.

I'm not precious about it at all - it goes nowhere at present. Collaboration is VERY exciting for me.
cheers
