Flexor is a new pack of over 50 band new modules for the creamware modular system, presenting new synthesis capabilities, and new colors.

You can check http://www.adern.com for more info.

mp3's will be added soon. Pricing has yet to be determined.

well, we can not say when it will be out, we are hoping it will take about 3 weeks, but dont take my word on that...

the pricing is yet to be determained, it will be reasonable i can promise that.

now the modules are compatble with all creamware modular systems, but we warmly recomend to upgrade to the modular 3 system, to gain full functionability of our Flexor pack, and advanced synthesys in general.

Peace!

This is one of the best things I've been for the Pulsar in a long time (well... that last part _is_ a lie - Solaris is fantastic). It makes me very happy to hear that a good filter could be possible with the Pulsar.

Cheers!

you're telling me there aren't any good filters on Pulsar?
Or do you mean something different?

great to hear new development is still going on, and for the modular even! I'm not a modular user myself but I feel good for those who are

- The butter filters for example are fat as...
- Try doing the rubber balloon TB303 sound with CW stock filters.
- There's a 96dB/oct low pass filter in the Flexor pack!
- The filter modulations can be used at audio rates which creates FM like overtones. Try this with stock filters.

I've been lucky enough to test these things for the last few months... trust me these modules are gonna be really worth the wait... the filters for example are big and analog-sounding (they got that crunchy b000m when u turn the cutoff down low).

The other stuff in it is indescribable... they can do seriously insane timbres which you never heard before on Pulsar...

peace

To King.

Well... that's my opinion. I'm not very satisfied with the filters available on the Pulsar. The 4-pole filter does in my opinion suck and the only filter I've come close to like is the one on Prophet Plus. But it's still not there. I can't put my finger on it, but it just won't get me started.

Argh... the only digital filter I've come across and worship is the one in my Virus C.

Anyway... it would be very nice to hear how the new filter sounds like. It's always nicve with a change.

Carl.

was never realy impressed by the stock filters (not to bad, I use other stuff), but well, now I read this:

and Atomic's comment, I get the feeling this could be *something*.
I'll check the mp3, red_Muze!

well, my personal opinion, is that pulsars filters are excelent (and better than the cold virus filters) but still the Adern filters have a totaly diferent responce and grasp to the sound then the stock filters...
and they have a special charecter.

well I don't care for the seperate filters that come with pulsar either (4-pole), but I love the filter in the Pro One (and the filters in the other Prophets are probably just as nice) and the Minimax filter is amazing as well (although I've only played with the demo).
But more good filters is always better of course!
