Does anyone know if xtc mode could happen with osx i assume that it was something in os9 that made it imposible before.

Who cares? SFP is more flexible than XTC. Let's just get OSX SFP first.

The reason XTC never worked on a Mac was because the VST spec had certain severe limitations which made XTC impossible (such as only one window per device). So they may or may not develop AU XTC. I don't know. But yes, SFP mode is way more powerful than XTC -- I've never been able to figure out why people use XTC in the first place!

for final mixing,it sounds better and involves fewer mixers.i agree sfp mode is better for daily work.

but i do also like SFP thats why i bought it...
