I have never tried this (the most channels I've had to record simultaneously is 6) but I do not see why it should not work, if you set up a 16-channel ASIO destination and ensure all channels go to separate tracks in your sequencer. I'll try it out a bit later to test.

It should be working at 24 bit 48 kHz
For 96 kHz you need Pulsar 2 and SMUX, 8 channels on 2 ADAT ports

I have Pulsar 1 and it simply won´t funktion with 16 ch rec though adat. The adatport that I don´t slave to is distorted.
It might be possible on Pulsar 2 or scope.

This should be possible with your Pulsar 1.
Conclusion: there is a problem with your setup.
So: check your setup.
