i tried the demo version of sixstring and play almost one our with my MIDI guitar and the presets.
i recorded some little riffs (just improvisation and direct "play and record"! - i had only one hour!
) from the presets (NO tweaking and NO external fx was used. all you listen comes from the six strings alone - 6 voice and almost 7DSP full!!)
you can have an idea here:

comments: i was surprised by the basses, the acoustic and nylkog guitar are OK, i dislike the distorted guitar (for a matter of "feeling"!) the PADs and the etnic instrumens (here not recorded) were really awesome!
the plugin have a great potential, but, once again, its too heavy on the DSP!
what cathced my attention was that i cannot process external signals thru the amplifier section of sixstrings.
it would be great if CW would make a plugin (maybe free!
) with the amp section alone....
it is time to have a line6 POD inside pulsar environment, with 32 amps and 16 cabs emulations to choose from!
final note: for 250 euro i don't think i will ever buy it.
