I'm sure I am not alone in my fevered anticipation of the update for Cubase SX that will address the latency issue and therefore make XTC mode work as intended. However I read that the patch will also require soundcard manufacturers to update their drivers.
Does anyone know if Creamware intend to do this for their existing hardware range ? Or will they be only addressing this issue with the release of their new range of hardware products ?
I think it would be usefull to know, particularly if someone is thinking of purchasing or upgrading at the moment (like myself)

I mean the SX delay compensation feature, not the latency feature
