I've been looking through my stored freeware archives and I havn't found any XTC-compatible devices at all. Now I know that it requires more development to make a device XTC-compatible, but is it true that there are no freeware XTC-synth around?

you are right. this is sad, but it's a lot of work for the developers, and apparently CW is stingy with the needed docs and tools, as per their usual 3rd party "strategy".
I did see Rainer comment on another forum that he intended to make a XTC version of the Saturn, which was always my favorite...
