can you tell me if this configuration is acceptable?
sonar 2.1 + windows 2000
on a PC pentium 3, 384 MB Ram.
how is the WDM drivers latency? could i reac 13ms at least??
i think i will not use many softsynth or DX plugins and i will run probably 10-12 mono audio traks at maximum, with MIDI playing pulsar synths

Hi Bosone,

I don't use Sonar myself, but I had an almost similar setup running on my previous system (the difference is that I use Cubase)and that was a PentiumII 400Mhz/256MB, so I'm sure that the setup you describe will run fine on your system.

WDM driver performance won't be an issue anymore for Sonar in the near future, because it is about to support ASIO. See http://www.planetz.com/forums/viewtopic ... &forum=5&2 for more info about that.
