Hello I'm Pieter (teh Netherlands)

Just bought my pulsar II card this week, and I allready have a question for you. The term "NFR" (not for resale) is virtualy everyware including on the card itself! is this a bad thing? Or is it written in every package?

Furthermore I'm wondering about the software, if I should download any upgrades etc., sorry but the website (I registered my hardware allready) doesn't realy help me out.

This is what i now have registered, should I take anymoe action or is this just "it"?
(Pulsar II)
Effects Package I
Effects Package II
Main Studiotools Package
Mixer Package I
Modular V2
Poison FM
Pulsar Application
Pulsar ProPack
SCOPE Fusion Platform
STS-2000P
STS-3000
Synthesizer Package I
Synthesizer Package II
Volkszämpler SFP

I work on a macntosh, with just os X installed right now, tommorow I'm going to instal the lot (including os 9.2!) and I want to be prepared

Thanks for helping me out!

Pieter

Shouldn't this be private info????

Let me help you by writing "Edit your post and erase your keys!"

hi Pieter,

first, do what Paul suggested and erase your keys from the post. They are not for public view.
I'm not shure if SFP runs in that 'classic emulation box' under OSX.
Under native OSX it's expected not before mid of next year.
You should be able to install a dual boot system OSX/OS9 with your current Mac software. It can even run in the same partition of the disk and is simply switched by the startup control panel.

cheers, Tom

Probably NFS means that it was a demo card distributed by CW(?). Most of the time they're given to dealers etc. as promo material. The 'dealer' did not pay for it, so CW (or the person giving the card away) marks it 'NFS'.

about a year ago such NFR cards were frequently sold in Germany. Always with a remark: ...selling is explicitely authorized by Creamware...
If your card has those numbers you just deleted  then it's properly registered at CW. They register each single board by hardware-serial-no and would have noticed if something was wrong, at least imho.
It might require explanation if you want to resell the card someday, but there are also vinyls marked 'not for resale', sometimes even extraordinary expensive

cheers, Tom

I'm sure it can't run in 'Classic' mode under OS X.

If you get into problems after installing OS 9.x and then SFP then try to install the 9.x witout OS X at all
