i was recently thinking about buying some sort of external FX unit to free some poulsar DSP power...
the problem is: what kind of FX unit???
i have no idea, yet... for sure, if i will ever buy something, it have to be cheap... let's say 200-300 euro maximum (if it exist something at that price! i don't know!)
then...i'm thinking about a reverb unit, but will it be worth the price i'll pay?? is there something worth to be used instead pulsar FX?
any thought on this?

PS: i'm making only instrumental music, so no voice... i don't need a FX unit dedicated to vocal tracks

I would also think of a reverb, one of the most DSP consuming for DSP, and a nice lexicon would probably sound better(i don't know, i don't have one...) than a simple masterverb.... And since it is external, you can forget of loading many instance, so a reverb also fit well there, is used in a aux bus.

lexicon reverbs have the advantage of digital in- and outputs including the budget ones, so you can hang 'm in the aux send return chain without any lost in quality.
And lexicon has the name...!
