Hi,

Maybe this is a wish, maybe it can be done already - I don´t know. I´ve already been mumbling around this in the Modular wishlist - and here I go again.

When I assign a CC to a knob in the Modular I want to be able to define where in the knobs range the CC should start - and end.
Tweaking the Modulation Range in the Controller Settings just gives me the option of going UP in the Mod. Range - not down, and trying to find the exact position for the range to start and stop... phew, it gives me the creeps.

Also, the 128 steps you get in the midi CC protocol is not enough. Sometimes the spteps is audible when I modulate hard, and that sucks.

Any ideas? I mean, in the NordModular this is implemented so beautifully, why not in the Mod3?

Agreed, this would be a great improvement to the cc implementation, not just in Modular, but across the board for SFP devices.

I'd also like to see the ganging and (maybe more importantly) inverse ganging of cc controls so that one cc can be used to control more than one parameter, and incresing one cc could cause one parameter to rise and another to fall.

j9k's midi whatsits are quite useful for this sort of control though.

" target="_blank">FOAM is good for periodic CC control of a parameter and you can restrict the range with this.

The j9k ADSRM is useful for similar stuff. I know this isn't quite what you're after, but these devices are fun anyway!

Hi Ben,

I totally agree on the ganging issue. That would take it all to another level. And when it comes to j9k, he´s brilliant! I have a lot of fun with his things.

BTW, do you know any way around the bug in the CC dialogue that makes it impossible to have the CC:s on another MIDI channel than the Modulars own?
