This is the worst I can afford...
But, how has the weather been out there this fall?
In Finland:
- the first week of September was HOT (which it's not usually)
- the first week of October was COLD(-15!) (which is's not usually)
- the first week of november is wet (well, this may be typical

But what a fall...

in mid-south italy, yesterday we had the first cold (nothing compared to finland's...)
but we had a +3° in the night, after an october with +13 as minimum...but during the day is still nice.
but there is a statement thet says: "the worst cold is warm country's cold!"

we still do it like mr. farhenheit....

70-80 in the day,(50 right now)
50 at night.('bout 50 last night)
brrrrrrrr.

Snow started here in Montreal!

It's the first rain here (San Francisco area) since May, and it's a massive downpour and gusting winds. A lot of flooding, and power outages, etc.

It's starting to get cold in Tokyo. Around 12 degree highs, and 3-4 degree lows. My room goes all the way up to 30 degrees though, because it's on the 3rd floor and I have big windows. (sort of green house effect)

Annnd, it's raining today.

My studio place is 1 meter 40 centimetres wide per 1 meter 70 centimetres long and 2 meters 60 centimetres high. When cold begins, I just light a second light and the room becomes warm with its heat and the screen heat. My door is a piece of clothe, so I double it with a blanket and that’s me, I’m in heaven…

Unfortunately it's been predicted to be worse than last year.

It's going to be very hot, very dry, and windy. Perfect weather for fires and those f**ked up arsonist arseholes. Where I live (Canberra) we are already seeing kangaroos hopping around town looking for water.

And now, only a few days after my posting (when it was raining) it is damn cold here! Well, -10 Celsius is not cold... and there is snow everywhere. This is crazy.

Wheyuweee! 43C here now, 2 days of 40C preceded today. Another hot one tomorrow before it backs off to a frigid 28C midweek.

It's amazing when it gets like this - the afternoon seabreeze known colloquially as "the doctor" doesn't arrive for a few consecutive days and you've got a heatwave. All the bricks in the house heat up, and radiate through the night. Len and i head for the pool

That's a regular day in Vegas from May through mid September.
127F / 52C is normal in Laughlin for the summer. ( 45 min. south )
The only thing that saves us is the zero humidity...
When it rains though, 15-20% humidty at that temperature is awfully hot.
As we say in Vegas................Hotter than a Whore House on Dollar day.

El Nino conditions now - 3 storms starting to hit now.
Much needed rain.

Got some humidity due to a huge-spanned system up north.
I crack a sweat at a winter gig as soon as I start playing, so @ these times I must watch it. Lost 7 kg a few years ago (in 2 weeks) doing a badly airconditioned show.

So i barricade the main bedroom, quilt on window, put a portable a/c in there and make that the cool room. Len crashes in there with us. The rest of the house has to be open at night and absolutely shut for the day. Which is kinda hard in an area where cars are regularly smashed/torched ..and with no bars on the windows of the house.

We have probably been blessed with some local knowledge/protection so far (12 years in this rented house ), but things are starting to get a little wild with the huge mining wage some get and the speed they gobble when they're back in town with a wad.

- i know, i talk about the weather too much. But only when it gets a little crazy. Nothing to see here folks

If it gets really nasty though, a fan and a spray bottle always works too.
I actually thought Vegas was the hottest place until I did a gig in Death Valley at a Hotel on Furnace Creek.
The name didn't ring a bell until we loaded in.....127 degrees...

Hope you see colder days like you did at Crystal Bay a few years back.

Here it snowing a lot and in Lithauania and Siberia also they told me here

Yeah Jim - got a big industrial fan in the living room, blow it across a colander of ice on a stool when it's hardcore.

We hold wet tea-towels in front of it and twist 'em round our necks.

The place is still cheap in a "boom" town but she's a '30's red brick & tile job, and with no insulation, it's infra-heat city. Squirt it down at night.

Sweated a pint typing this, but no worries, as it will help with that troublesome verandah I've been building over the toolshed
