Are there pulsar users which use other sequencers then logic or cubase.
Which ones ??

AAAAAAAAAcid - works well if you use 8 wav outs for Xtra fX processing. . .
Cubase/Logic are bigger and more in depth. Us Americans know that BIGGER=BETTER. Right?

Sometimes I use Digital Performer with Pulsar. You have to use Pulsar System 2.04 or the ASIO drivers don't work. It's not as good as in Logic but its servicable. Digital Performer prefers working with MOTU's own proprietary recording interfaces. It's better in DP when using MOTU audio interfaces.
Using arbitrary numbers I'd say working in Logic and Pulsar is about a 95% satisfactory experience. Using DP and Pulsar is about a 80% satisfactory experience.

Voyetra Digital Orchestrator Pro. Handles all the MIDI and syncs well with Samplitude.
I was a Cubase user for years, but am now addicted to Samplitude.
Other options include Acid and Hotz (no longer being developed)

Thanx for your reactions !!
I use Cubase, but i have the same problems like many pulsar users: "The Crackles"
Can somebody tell me if logic has the same problems, and what about Digital preformer, is ther a downloadable demo ???
TIA

Yes...logic has somewhat the same problems...but if you don´t need 3ms latency you can elimate this by turning the ulli settings higher

I use samplitude, too...but´s more a hardiskrecording studio then a sequencer but it works fine...You may experience some sync probs with 5.9 but they´re working on it and it should run again with 6.0 .

Using Pulsar 2.041 on a Macintosh I can go down to the lowest ULLI setting and have almost no crackles in Logic or Performer. I use the next to last ULLI setting just to make sure there are NO crackles. Unfortunately there's no demo on Digital Performer. It's a rock steady sequencer, though.

Crackels? Crackles!? :?
I use Cakewalk 3, Cakewalk Audio 8 Pro, Samplitude 24/96 and Cool Edit Pro alltogether but I've never encountered crackles! I've got the Pulsar 1, BTW.
The only crackles I hear when the input in my ADDA converter is too loud
