It's got no wizard, which makes Optimaster unique to me.

But if not for the wizard, it does the same

endorphin is a nice (and free) VST multiband compressor mastering plug-in http://www.digitalfishphones.com but definitely check out the Finaliza too, very nice indeed

I'm using Final Liza alot lately, i find it pretty efficient for a free device! I don't know how it compare with Optimaster. I know it doesn't have the 'wizard' thing, but apart from that? Anyone has comment?

thank you all,

i'll try them soon.

i also would like to say that i think that creamware
should give the optimaster for free , after all
i pay around 1000$ for this card and one of the main
thing that i expect to get from creamware is a good mastering tool .

yeah! Trust no wizard man. After all these years of working with multicomps and other mastering tools, I don't see how any "program" could do a good job at it.. I really do wonder how the optimaster's wizard works... if it works at all...

It doesn't do a bad job actually, but I'm eventually going to use it only as a starting point and then do the tweaking manually after it's given me a bit of a headstart.

That's if I ever get around to actually mastering a track at all these days. *sigh*

i'm beginer with no big studio experance and to me optimaster's wizard seems like drunk from the begining.
can imagine what about "wizards" thinks someone with biger knowlage
in most cases we don't need expander or limiter section. i realy can't see/hear reason why to use optimaster instead finaliza.
btw: optimaster's expander section is best part to me and sometimes have no alternatives (on drums and similar), but mostly i use finaliza.
