with this Synth I tried to copy the OSC and filter architecture of the new Waldorf Q+ Synthesizer.

3 Multi OSC ,Nr.1 and 2 can be synced.
One Sine Sub OSC, FM-Operator, 2 Waldorf Wavetable OSC, noise and your AudioIn´s can be used.

Each Oscilator has their own filters.
The org. Q+ use a filtercombination of an analog 24db Lowpassfilter and a multiple digital filter.

I used a 24db Lowpass and polyfilter combination. Both filter can be used separately or together.

With all the oscilators and filters the Micro Quasi can produce some very big,fat leads or complex, lasting pads or sequences.

The best way to program this synth is to program the OSC´s separately, mute all OSC until one is left, program it and move to the next -and so on.
You can adjust the OSC Level with the remote control.

This current ModIII Device is a beta version, I don´t understand how I can build a vocoder,yet. Maybe someone can help me here.
The Micro Quasi should vocoder analyzed ,the audio in´s should vocoder synthesized.
Also I´ve to think about the effects,effects mixing-routing one more time.

Please test this version and tell me your suggestions, I can play the Mirco Quasi only monophone, so many things must be improved.

Again,this device is a big one, I colored the important and cohesive section on the image. When the Micro Quasi is done ,I´ll add a guide as notes.

Wow, Chris - that's a pretty massive patch you've created there. Gave it a first proper try out the other night and it's capable of some lovely rich, dynamic textures, isn't it.

Thank goodness for the MRC to help tweak some of the most obvious parameters, but it does point out the limitation of the MRC's 16 knobs doesn't it! I didn't really try and come to terms with how the patch was built - too big to get my head round it all, but it sounds great and is very tweakable!

Does it come close to the Q, do you think? I've never played one, so couldn't judge this myself.

Wow! Now THAT'S a modular synthesizer!

I would have liked more presets, but I suppose it's hard to program that thing! However did you get those labels? I couldn't find out how you did it. I didn't see any label modules in any of the menus.

Sorry for the delay of my answer,Ben.
I never played a Micro Q too but I´ve heard some audio tests and could compare this to the Micro Quasi, it sounds similar, I´am surprised by myself
Again it is much to do for me on this patch, as you noticed there is no CC1 support and the vocoder dosn´t function yet.
First I will finish the Starchaser Music Project then I will go back to my modulars, I wish a day has 36 hours.

The micro quasi looks big but it is very easy to program this synth.
The best way to start is to work OSC by OSC, mute all OSC until you have one left, you can do that with the MRC. Once you have programed the first OSC, go to the other, finaly add the effects,ready.

Once this synth is ready, you will play the MicroQuasi normal with your Keyboard, plug in a microphone and tweak the synth with your voice, carried by the Micro Quasi.

The text modular (Labels), they are very useful to describe things in your patch or just to label a section etc.

I add a directory to the modII or III modular directory, called tools and copy this file into it. Now you have a additional menu in your modular "tools" ,of course.

I look forward to post a new version and presets in Februar(sorry).
