Can anyone confirm this:

When SFP is running (not in XTC Mode) it is not possible to start Volkszampler. There is a message-window that XTC-Mode is not running.
So the conclusion is that Volkszampler is a XTC-Instument (also buggy and unstable).

I believe every creamware synth behaves this way, no?

Does sound very strange becasue Volks run without CW cards installed meaning it is in fact a VST.

Also you can't load it into a CW project cos its not a .dev or .mod

Hmmm??

There is 2 version of volkzsampler. One that sell as a standalone vst instrument on creamware shop, no need for any creamware card with this one.

And another that they 'give' with xtc, because, some have the sts, and it doesn't work under xtc. This one need a creamware card. It is still a real vst, but it work only when sfp is installed. It is the way that they have integrated it into sfp that cause this. You cannot have access to it when NOT in xtc mode, but it doesn't use a single bit of dsp.

Sorry I've forgotten to mention that I have a Pulsar XTC + Luna II. When I start CUBASE SX and the SFP Software (with Live Bar,...) and try to open Volkszampler in Cubase there comes a message that tells me I'm not in XTC-MODE!!!! That's true and I can't load any XTC-Devices in Cubase. But shouldn't VZ be a native instrument and should run without XTC-Mode?
I guess so.

But the problem could be that VZ will be installed together with the SFP software and therefore it's treated like a native but XTC-Instument - only available in XTC Mode.

CW please correct this bug!!!
