Hi there,
Just a quick query. Is anyone else having difficulty receiving technical support from Creamware Germany at the moment?
I e-mailed them a couple of weeks ago with a request to transfer some software from a card I am selling and have still had no response. I re-sent the message to
info@creamware.de and
support@creamware.de, but neither has replied (not even the usual auto-reply).
Thanks,
Will

It's good to see you got a reply
Maybe I'm just lucky, but I've always recieved replies from creamware support (not that I've needed to send mails often mind).
Compared to some other comapnies I've dealt with, Creamware have been really good in this regard!
I recently found a particularly nasty eq bug in the stm2448 mixer. Sent a bug report off a couple of days ago to creamware, a word doc with a clearly written procedure to reproduce the bug along with screen captures and system spec, and they sent me back a reply to acknowledge that they got the report (and a thanks for the well layed out report). Then just earlier on this morning they sent me another quick mail to let me know the bug is fixed (probably in 3.1c final)
So I can't complain at all.
Anyway, if you are using the STM2448, until 3.1c final comes out, make sure when you open the panels, you arrange them so they are completely seperate from each other (don't let the channel view panel overlap the main master view panel) otherwise your eq settings may get screwed up when closing the channel view panel. Unfortunately this is actually a sound affecting bug not just a graphical display bug and is very easy to do accidently!

I emailed them last night and had a friendly reply from Paul Tanti within 1 minute. A couple of follow up emails received the same attention.
It's not an easy life being in a support department, and yes, I think they could improve, but I'm sure that they do their best for the most part.
So, last night I had no complaints.
