It never was clear to me what exactly were the relations between Emagic and Magix, but after this it seems clear Magix *IS* Emagic, or what else are they trying to make us believe? What game is it?
Now, I "can" understand Emagic stops Logic PC development because of Apple acquirement, but why do they want to develope Samplitude for PC with Emagic brand?
Check this:

And it still doesn't sound as if it is

Try,
http://www.samplitude.com
and have a read.
For good or bad Emagic will only distribute Sam, and that's all

What hits me, is that next version will support ASIO and also will include DSP latency compensation.
This is cool, maybe it will replace Logic5 afteer sometimes. Anyway, it look promising.
Sequoia especialy.

A friend of mine who's used Logic and Cubase extensively, had a play with Sequoia and raved about it. He just loved the intuitive interface. That was a couple of months ago. Now he has SX and I think he's found his final resting place...

Personnaly, i hated Cubase, now i still hate SX. It's just that i found that the interface really suck. I know this is subjective, like any opinions. I really prefer Logic way of presenting things. Not perfect, far from it, but for me, everything is so intuitive compared to Cubase or SX...
