Hello everyone.
I'm new to this forum and I don't own any Creamware products but that's the main reason I'm here now. I need a sampler and I just need to know does this PowerSampler2 meet my requirements. (I'm mainly interested can I do all following with no extra money or extra DSP needed)
I want to:
- use long vocal samples and modify them in real time with all those freaking pitch shifters and stuff. (with only a polyphony of 2 or something)
- do my percussions and drums with the card and I'd need a polyphony of 10 but not too weird special fx and stuff with them.
- have something like 5 different effects to get couple for vocals and couple for drums.
So can anyone tell if the 3-processor card can handle all that?
Btw. Is there any hardware differences between PowerSampler2 and Luna2? Or can I turn Luna2 to a PS2 with just buying software?
Do I have to pay for effects with PowerSampler2? (coz I'd hate to do it)
Should I buy the whole damn thing or just do the stuff with soft samplers (I have 1,2 GHz Athlon and I should be able to record with Sound Forge and run Cakewalk at the same time)
I'd appreciate any answers.
