i like to start developing for pulsar, i have some knowledge of c++ and java.
I cannot afford scope/dp, who can?.
looking at analog devices homepage i see that there are some dev tools there. is it possible (whitin a reasonible amount of time) to create scope/pulsar plugins with these. Im willing to spend time and energy to learn and understand developing for this platform, but not if it takes like two years of research/studying before i can start thinking about developing what i want(plugs for pulsar).
Am i beeing overly ambitius or can it be done?

maybe the fastest way for you is to TRY to deal a scope SDK from CW .

is that what you did?
if so, what do thay expect back?
the devices to be free, sell thru their shop?
im not interested for moneymaking, i just think i have some good ideas that will benefit this platform and my own musicmaking.
I really like your mary jane plug, tanx.

thermos.
I do have the same thought you have about developing plugins for CW. I also know some C++ and Delphi, plus some knowledge about assembler. I've downloaded a Sharc Simulator where you can see how does this chip work. It's very complicated. I've downloaded also a book (yes a complete book to Understand DSP). If you are interested may be we can exchange all the info we can get. So plz let me know if you are.

I've found it on:
http://www.dspguide.com/
It gives you an idea of the whole DSP picture.
And Neutron, the simulator I've got it's more arquitecture oriented, it's kind of an interactive flash program that shows the inner parts and diferent routing inside the Sharc Chip, so you have an idea of the number processing taking place inside.

Thanks a lot. DL:ing right now.
I believe this is exactly what i've been looking for.
Just getting started on the DSP theory and C++ programming.
So who knows, in 10 years or so maybe i've finished my first own plug-in
