What is the difference between the .mdl and .dev extensions? I noticed that PT_Free is an mdl while my other effects are dev.
mdl are saved in the project, dev are saved as references, not in the project.
Before mdl was almost everything except synths. Now i understood it is advised to make devs, especially inserts effects and XTC.
mdls are mainly i/o now, and Modular II.
correct me if i'm wrong .
