Hi all,
I have a PulsarXTC and am downloading the new 3.1 software right now. PulsarXTC cannot run third-party creamware plugins or scope devices, because according to the manual, these features are not necessary because "PulsarXTC has no IOs". I wish they hadn't equated the XTC-mode plugin library with the physical mixer in making this decision, but hey, it's their company.
However, I really want to access the world of Scope devices/plugins in XTC mode. Given the new unified software, though I'm not sure that should even be an issue, I was wondering if I could add a Luna II, and because it has I/Os and runs the SFP software, devices, mixer etc, and thus achieve my goal of accessing the full power of XTC mode.
It sounds like I could just replace the PlusarXTC with a cheaper Luna II, but it would be nice to have 9 DSPs instead of 3.
Cheers,
