I build this song around the magic violin sample, which I took from a violin concert of Rachmaninov (?).
Any comments welcom.

just by curiosity is it made for some dance movements,or is it just an ambience for a scene?
For me i yet can imagine some dance on it.I can not judge the technic work ,but i have some old vynils +8 label from detroit or early planet e records with some similar sounds(for electronic i mean).anyway A good way to do music:)

Hi COC, no there were no special dance movements in that two person performance ('two-acter'?)
For this piece I was asked to suggest an athmos for a 'first night couple', talking during the sunday afternoon.
Hey, I like the dance association you feel, the stage manager actually was looking for a dance orientated musicion, so to you my mission succeeded

hi Hubird, coming back just to say that even if i don't have a good culture in modern dances i have seen 2 performance in "theatre de la ville" in Paris, one was Pina bausch(hope i write correctly),and the other one was a mix with a new york experimental band using analogic tracks, sampler lot of crazy instruments created or modified by them and all this synchro with a dance company(ouah ouah),unfortunatly i don't remember the name!
Of what i discover it is a really creative area,i enjoy the idea to think body movements,synchronisation+...+...etc...,there is lot of really interressant things to do in theater creations.
You are surely not on the bad way.
wish you lot of fun(and work) for your future creations:)

thanks coc999, yeah I know Pina Bausch, she's great, as are her dance creations, which I saw (just) on TV.
It allways take a few time before a new (music) culture gets embrassed by allready existing ones.
In the past me and two friends run the electronic dance band Ulanbator.
Titjana de la Fuente, a modern choreographer, asked us then to make the music for her new 'modern dance' performance, reaching out for new and young audiance.
So that was a nice thing to do, lots a shows in theaters, instead of pop/rock stages.
I don't have recording here of that show at the moment, but I'll post another song of Ulanbator instead.
thanks for your comments!
