hi...
when I create a preset with Pulsar 3 I have to give it a name; when I do that and push the return-button then sometimes (3 out of 10 times) pulsar-crashes - did one of you experience the same ? Is there a patch available ?
thanks

I had this too a while back under WinXP, Pulsar 3.01. Pulsar would disappear immediately saving a insert preset in the PulsarMixer. I think I was doing something silly like saving a stereo effect on a mono channel but it shouldn't have crashed out completely.

Instead of double clicking around, click ONCE, pause a second, and click again. Or, the way I do it, click ONCE, then press F2 and start typing.

The trick seems to be to click twice slower than a double-click and without moving the mouse between clicks.
F2 is for people with the DTs.
Talking of presets it'd be good if, when you single click another preset, there was a way of seeing which preset is still active - with different highlighting perhaps.

thanks all for your replies, but.. it seems that you consider this bug not important and accept it.. for me it is annoying to be disturbed in a creative process (creating sounds), reboot the machine again, load all the stuff again and then to be afraid that it happens again; don“t know, I thinks CW should fix this damn bug in the next software-version

No, I too think it is annoying. But I never had it happen to me until I tried very hard to reproduce it. And I suggested the way that I've always done it with success.
Hopefully it gets fixed in the next version, if not, you now have 2 ways to accomplish what you need.
