I've tried to install the STS 4000 device on my new PC (PIII 800 MHz 256 MB Asus CUSL2-C mobo) with the same authorisation key I got from CreamWare when I installed it on my last PC. Now all of a sudden I get this error message:

"MIDI2PC: Unknown external symbol 'os_irqAck. This may be the result of an installation error or version conflict."

I've also tried to install it on another PC and I get the same error message.

What am I suppose to do?

This may sound obvious - but have you reinstalled pulsar again?
as far as i know when installing a new device you must install the device - activate it, then re-install pulsar back over the top.

Try that - fingers crossed it'll solve yer problems.

All the best

Are you sure about this? The installation of the STS 4000 on my previous PC went perfectly without re-installing the Pulsar II software.

i don´t think you have to reinstall pulsar after every new installed device.
are you sure that you are using the same pulsar software version like on your old system, on which you previously installed the sts4000 the first time? maybe there is a conflict...

Yes, it's the same software. The only thing that's different is the PC.

Believe it or not, but re-installing the Pulsar II software did solve my problem! I think this is rather strange, but you won't hear me complain at the moment...
