Topaz : do not expect having a professional tool for free  I've made free stuff for fun and they are not even 1% as good as the registered products are.

Only Creamware can offer "quality" FREE stuff, or people working in their spare time (lucky men). Creamware is earning money selling their soundcards and they are not free at all

I'm typically working 2-3 months fulltime on each plug I release, with the help of several persons that are doing graphics, testing or presets. Some of them are paid, some are working in exchange of free devices. But at the end, I'm working full time on this stuff and that's why I'm selling the result.

Of course I can't give too much things free, otherwise all the ones who are payaing (thanks to them!) would not understand.

Poor Nikko, seems like you've got nothing but flak since offering your free device ! But it's gestures like these that keep the community alive. Such devices also are good "ads" for the main device. Celmo does this often and I think gets much goodwill and good business in return. I've downloaded the device and look forward to testing

sorry I did not mean to knock your devices
but to say not to expect good devices for free is untrue.
take a look at neutron7.com or some of stephen hummels devices, even comb pro by zarg..

there all killer devices and I have purchased from them.

again sorry to upset you, but I just wondered if your freebies where that good.

I'm not upset  I'm just clarifying things. But you can give good or bad comments (everybody) on my devices, everyone can give his opinion! Im' reading everything and always try to fix everything that can be fixed!
Of course free device is a smart way to have a return in business. It is a win/win solution. Also I agree that people sometime have done a huge effort to pay their expensive soundcard and they do not want to spend anymore money after that. Free devices are here to give them fun tools that can together greatly enhance the basic Creamware package, and give a lot of fun!

... I hope to count you in my clients very soon

This is a very interesting sounding device - a bit limited but thats just making me want to try out the analog  guess thats the idea eh!

However - your web site WHEN I can get to it is crap - I had to register 5 times before I got the email (automatic) sent to me. This is the kind of thing that will loose you sales bigtime.

(oh I like your compressor too - nothing fancy but its come in handy a couple of times)

Yes, that website needs some heavy work. DSPDEV is obviously spending too much time working on devices !

nicolas, both the freeverb and analogift non-flaming version are "invisible" on my system. the flaming version is visible, but doesn't look very good, again...on my system.

it'd be cool if you developed a modularized version of your ds oscillator, as another board member has brought up.

best.
