Hi,

Anyone experienced with a wireless mouse?
If there was interference between wired-mouse clicks and audio, did the wireless mouse solve the problem?

Thanks,

atomic.

I've been on a logitech wireless for the past 2 years but havn't had any problems with it. The newer ones that are ball-less and wireless seem to be very nice. I'd never go back to a wired mouse again. But on second thought... maybe I'd like to hang onto my balls. :lol:

Use caution!!

A colleague of mine attached a logitec wireless ball mouse and discovered that the radio frequency was registering interference when testing noise shelf. He later discovered that a logitec wireless optic mouse attached to another machine in the same room was also contirbuting to this problem.

But do your own tests perhaps. I have heard though that an Infrared mouse is the best wireless option for DAWs if you can track one down.

Cheers

Thanks, both Ken and Ontik.
I'd like to try one, but it would be a waste to spend 150€ on a wireless mouse if it made noise. To try it, I should buy one )-;
I'll look for some one I know who has one... I had read mixed opinions about it on different forums. IR mouse could be a solution, but there's still a cable on your desktop instead of behind the computer, or away from the analog audio cables. Not?

Happy Pulsaring,
