Very strange! Can anybody help me?
After the upgrade of the Pulsarsoftware to Version 2.0.4 I noticed that my Internet download performance is gone (only 1k and less) while Pulsar is running. After quitting Pulsar (doesn´t matter if it is winstart.pro or the Pulsar main Program) the download performance is back (7-8K).
My winstart.pro is really not big and because of this I think it cannot be a lack of RAM. I also tested the download preformance with 4 really big apps open simultaneously besides the browser (but without Pulsar) and the Preformance is OK.
Has anybody an idea what´s going on here?
Thanks in advance Thomas

Sounds like PCI bandwidth problem...

Subject: don´t think so
I don´t think that it can be a PCI bandwidth problem, because the same winstart.pro project worked with Pulsar 2.0.1.without any problems.
Any other ideas?

That's a know bug of Pulsar (software) v1.0 !
I remember having exactly the same problems more than 2 years ago.
Well ... I can't test if 2.04 add this problem, because currently my Pulsar card is out for repair.

Thomas,
Seems I've got the same problem. Been running Pulsar OS 2.04b, but will install 2.04a tonight.
Ever since using the beta, download speed is nonexistent.
Any word from Creamware?
Thanks,
interloper

Subject: mail was send today
Hi Interlooper,
I´ve send them a mail today. Perhaps they´ll send me an answer tomorrow or after the weekend, let´s see.
For your Info. I haven´t installed the beta before I upgraded to 2.0.4, so I think this bug exists in both beta and final Version.
Maybe many of the Pulsar users have this download problem, but don´t know that Pulsar is the reason.
Greetings Thomas
