Hey Chris!

I really like this one. It reminds me of the material you can find on the MD1 and MD2 compilations from the n5MD label.

Do you have more like this one?

Oh yeah, there's a song as well.. ;] The synt work is great, nice flowing feel to it. The 007 sounds really good. Suggestions: play the einstein sample *once* and make it a little more intelligible, perhaps lift some of the treatments. The drums are a bit on the light side and I miss ..some rythmic elements. Reminds me of Eno's Fractal Zoom, a song that's a lot darker in style, but really have a listen to the 'funk' in it. I think you could use some in your song.

Speaking of non-violence, you know there's a country who've got rid of their army? Costa Rica:

Two thousand people were killed during the 1948 Civil War, but their deaths brought about political changes that still are of great importance to Costa Rica. In fact, a new political constitution was drafted after the war, a task undertaken by an interim government represented by Figueres himself. This new constitution became a turning point in Costa Rica's history since it abolished the armed forces as a permanent institution.

Costa Rica's democracy makes it a beautiful place to live in; but the absence of an army makes its beauty unique, incomparable. The dissolution of the army was only one among many other outstanding acts: the constitution also established a neutral electoral tribunal, allowed women, blacks, and everyone over 18 to vote, and prohibited presidents from running for successive terms.
