Hey guys .. im kinda new to this ..

im using Emagic Logic Audio Platinum 4.81 in my Studio with a Yamaha 02Rv2 - 2 Alesis XT Adat .. and other Sound Moudles .. i intend to buy a sound card with power to help me with my audio recording and with the least Latency .. ive heard allot about the Power Pulsar and Scope .. since its costing $2000 more and belive me money isint a big deal ! i just want a card thats worth the cash i put in !! so ... should i get me a Power Pulsar ??

oh yeh im using a P4 2.0 1 GB RDram Intel Motherboard .. Matrox Dual Head Display Card 2 IDE Hard Disks

Yes, if you're a techie and know how to fine tune a Windows system. Pulsar works great but it's not a plug it in and forget it system. The synths are great, the audio routing is extremely flexible, the Samplers are pretty good (still a few bugs). There's only three other cards that are anything like it: Korg Oasys (discontinued), PowerCore (which has just barely introduced synths) and UAD-1 (which doesn't do synthesis). Pulsar is the only one trying to do it all and considering how technical this stuff is they do it pretty good in spite of the negativity from dissatisfied users.

If you're really in Kuwait, I wouldn't expect excellent tech support direct from Creamware. It seems good tech support is spotty here and there, but then again, I could be wrong.

One system was left unmentioned:
DIGIDESIGN ProTools. I'll be installing a new Protools system on monday.
It has also synths. And if u're good with money go with mac and Logic TDM.

If $ was not a problem I'd immediately buy a new dedicated PC to Subhuman's specs and install Scope and starting building my own synths !

well money isint a problem ..yeh true .. but ive been working on logic all my life now i guess and been doing great in it .. its just that digidesign is still bugging me .. i always get this ervee in buying it !! but i heard about pulsar and scope and i was like hey .. should i get this will it beter then the protools system !! i mean im really confused here .. i dont mind spending cash on somthing worth it ! not to spend $2000 and then think of another soundcard

Please contact subhuman. He works at http://www.infinitevortex.com He will set up a smooth running system with excellent support for you. But be warned: Scope or PowerPulsar need some time to get used to it. It IS complicated! You can do whatever you want. That is good for everything you need. It is bad as long as you are not familiar with all the wiring.
As soon as you are familiar with the system it's great!
