Reggae Energy

Post by spacef »

A sunny reggae instrumental, with epic brass section, and some vocals in the second part.

- This time the bass was made of Mini FMZ + Neodyne (same midi plays both synths) to get something more in tune and beefy. Then both tracks were grouped together, compressed and equalized to try to make it more like what I hear on modern reggae recordings (cutoff at 200hz or so, and a band rejection around 120/150 hz (if I remember well).

- The organ is a S|C B2003
- The delays at the end were made with SpaceF Tri-Delay
- Still using M1 vst for the piano, but doubled with a DX7-V electric piano.

All played on gigantic sound systems not found in shops :-)
