While testing Pulsar II boards in one of my host PCs, I noticed that one of the Pulsar IIs had a different sized I/O plate than the others.

As you can see in the picture, the lower board has a different width than the upper board.
I know the upper board is a PLUS board, and the lower is a "Classic" 20 version, but the other "Classic" boards I have are fitted with an I/O the same width as the PLUS boards AFAIR.
All my Pulsar II boards are v2.01, except for one which is a Scope Project.

Without pulling apart all my machines, I can fairly safely say that I have not seen this "shorter" version board before.
So - is this an older revision I/O plate, or what?

The IO boards have their own version.
The short Classic IO plate is v1.0.

Ah - I see.
I suppose there is no performance difference?
Anyway, thanks for the information.

I have never been able to detect any difference in functionality or performance between v1.0 and v2.0 Classic IO plates.

no, and most plates work on most cards.
