DAWman / Jimmy

Post by valis »

DAWman is having some issues, and seems quite under the weather. I would rather not reveal specifics without his expressed permission, but I would like to ask for the users who are most familiar with him to contribute something to lift his spirits. GaryB suggested we record short snippits of audio to wish him well. Looking for your thoughts on this matter...

Yes, I sent Jimmy a PM a couple of months ago as I noticed his sudden silence here but had no reply, and I also read some others here have been asking after him too. I remembered he had a Solaris so out of concern I emailed JB to ask if he happened to have been in touch, but he hadn't for some time.

Sorry to hear Jimmy's having problems and I wish him all the best and hope he can get his issues resolved soon whatever they may be.

WTF happened ?
That doesn´t sound good early this new year.
I´ve sent him a email a few minutes ago and hope he´s able to reply.

I was in contact w/ him for years,- not only here @PlanetZ.
He´s such a insanely good keyboardplayer.
We had much less contact in 2021,- last but not least because of my own issues and private reasons,- but we already hoped to meet somewhere in 2021 when he planned coming to europe.
But Corvid made it impossible.

Let´s hope he will enjoy normal life soon again.

In any case, I will have time to follow up on this over the weekend. I can set up a share point or we can share via your sharing services and collect them before delivery. Audio messages will be the easiest to compile, but anything contributed to express our wishes to Jimmy and show appreciation for the years he has been with us so far would be (I think) appreciated and appropriate.
Yes would be good to pass on some audio message for him, and whatever else you suggest. Let us know.

This is dawman jr. , pops is blind from cancer. His vision is returning, but at a very slow rate. He wanted me to tell you guys you have permission to post anything or send him anything on his behalf, in his words he said he should expect to return by summer to torture you all, thank you for everyone’s concern.

Yes, that‘s something to chew on, a moment of emptyness :(
Then I picked up the bass, trying to send positive vibes...

Wishing for a full recovery Jimmy. PlanetZ is a unique place, and it's at its finest when you are here torturing the populace. I look forward to this summer.
