Midi Glue - midi / cv processor

Post by Berny Shoes »

midiglue, claims to be the world's 1st programmable MIDI / CV processor

It’s a small bit of kit

Blurb from the website :
midiglue Programmable MIDI/CV Controller & Effects Unit
midiglue is a control box that can interconvert between MIDI, USB-MIDI, CV/GATE. It also acts as a MIDI effects unit, a sequencer, and an instrumental performance supporter. Plus, it also comes with a preset editor which can extend the pre-existing presets into your own desired MIDI effects.

Can even customise it with C++

Released but still only taking pre-orders following a successful kickstarter campaign. Not a bad small solution for midi/cv processing perhaps

Have I got one, no! Just saw it while surfing.

Cheers!

They’re available to buy on ‘that popular auction’ site. this unit is fpga
But, there’s many links to homebrew solutions e.g. jan ostman diy midi to cv or midisiser midi2cv.
Kenton do a few midi to cv converters
Although, I think the forum discussions on the Z are for an audio rate to cv converter

My desire for Scope/cv is to control the EaganMatrix module
Just an idle wish though

Cheers!

Nice idea to connect so much and use battery power too.

Good score.

For that kind of money though you could get the slightly larger and slightly more functional

Yes indeed, was just thinking of the ability to convert midi to cv. Agreed, it shouldn’t have been worded as a comparison

Cheers!
