Midi Director

*Update* the zip file has been updated to version 1.1.
I had changed the build slightly and it didn't work. Just forgot to put it back the way it was originally!
Please download again and ditch the old one.
A little midi device to try.
I was trying to build a device that would allow quick midi redirections.
The main reason was to allow quick changes of devices (eg Synths) so CC controls (eg Freq Cut Off, Pan, Volume, etc.) to one device could be redirected to a second, third or even fourth device'
There 2 midi ins (likely one from an external controller and maybe another from a sequencer track) that can be sent via:
- (2 separate channels) to 2 switchable midi out each; or by switching the mode
- (1 channel) to 4 switchable midi outs
Each of the input channels and paired outputs (or the 4 outputs) can be set via checkboxes as 'exclusive' meaning only one midi in (or one midi out) can be used at any one time. Exclusive modes are meant so midi data can be exclusively sent to one device or another
Unchecking exclusive checkboxes allows both midi in (and multiple midi outs) to be selected at any time.
As stated above my main driver to be able to easily switch CC between devices when sequencing/mixing.
I hope it is useful to you.
regards
