Yes, it has caused me issues on XP32 & Scope PCI as well. Most notably, the performance with legacy graphics drivers (and hence API calls?) is much better with the Scope app having its own drawing area.

Yeah, sorry,- the past 4 years, I unfortunately wasn´t able to follow every thread here.
In fact I held that using the slave- and master- PulsarConfig.pep files were the only solution changing those settings for XITE up to now.
It was all about my last installation that was SCOPE v5.1,- then I bought SCOPE v7 for XITE and PCI early, but didn´t install.
Now I did and read release notes.
I think that´s what users should do at least.
Detailed installation instructions beyond XITE-1 print manual (w/ Win XP screenshots) ,- "nil return" ...

Anyway,- it runs now and possibly can be optimized ,- we´ll see.

i don't get it.

why not test on another computer?
why not get a RA, to test at SC?

about the device manager listing, no. it does not mean that it works. it means that the part of the system that tells Windows that the connected device is an XITE, works.

Gary is correct, it simply means that it has some power and is able to respond with a device id/GUID/UUID, which means basic BIOS/EFI responses are working. That doesn't mean all components on a board work, that software is installed properly (including drivers sometimes), etc.
