Have not Seen you on the NAMM SHOW? Scope 7 is still a secret for the Rest of the mankind. UAD is getting richer and richer. Where are you, where do you want to go tomorrow? You are a lonely star in your hidden house.

NAMM has been done.
i did it with a stage, live recording and top notch acts. i've been there with a regular booth and the regular demo of several computers, programmers, a great idea and talk, talk, talk.
NAMM costs many tens of thousands of dollars and doesn't necessarily generate even one dollar.
it's unfortunate. a roll of double sided tape can cost $75. carpet, that the tape holds down, $500...unless you live locally and can sneek in a party rental company's carpet...of course, you still have to pay for the union assistance in putting that carpet down, even though they didn't touch it...
i'm fortunate that i moved 1200 miles from there and fell off a ladder and smashed my heel. otherwise, i would have been working there this year, too.

much better after 3 1/2 months on the couch and a month of swollen foot, but limping around. maybe fully healed(heeled) in another month or three...

Ya trade shows can suck major resources, excite a lot of people then yield zilch. Hope yer heal heals soon.

Indeed, and much more trim to choose from.
SoCal has little tolerance for women exploiting themselves as sex objects @ Trade shows.
In Nevada you can still buy women.
They really appreciate the #MeToo stuff as their asking prices have increased dramatically.
Which is why I encourage friends to go with immigrants.
Work much harder to gain citizenship, and usually cost a fraction of their American counterparts....
