direct sound driver under winxp

Software IO - DirectSound Source, but it is just a wrapper, the driver will exist in DX program, but sound will go into the wav driver, so to make dx work, youneed dx + wav driver...

i didn't think there's a Dx driver for win2k, just load the Wav device instead.

I think direct x 8 is making a mess....

Yeah yeah, dx work in XP and W2K, but not like in 98...
About dx8, you need at least dx8a, if you have XP, it's already fully configured, in W2K, i don't remember.

In Win2k, it's auto installed, Dx. There's an uninstaller somewhere, I have Dx6.1 still on my disk
