Live 9: nK Midi Rack: Scope 5.1: Reason 5

Hi,
I am having issues automating Live and Reason 5 using the nK Midi Rack from Macrobat. The youTube Video just scratched the surface. Has anyone tried this union with success who can advise??
I can get sound to reason but the cc's aint going through. Something to do with the driver being in use by another application.
Thanks in advance for the assistance.
Regards
Ike

Is 'Live' the 'other application' open at the same time & if so are they rewired ?

Hi Dante,
Thanks man for the response, Appreciated.
Reason is rewired to live . Live is the Master.
I can get the nK Midi Rack Data onto the Live Tracks, but the data does not get through to Reason.
When I rewire Reason, there is a Message. "Scope Midi drivers are not available or are in use by another application".
The Midi drivers are there in the routing environment and only Seq Source 1 is active in Live the others are not.
Thanks in advance.

add another sequencer midi source and destination onto the project and then assign Reason to use the second set of midi i/o(before opening Live and/or Reason).

Also check Reason / Options / Controllers - the screen with the picture(s) of different keyboard models - you may be trying to grab a MIDI I/O there that isn't available because LIVE has picked it up.

Hi to all/Gary B,
Thanks for the advise, I will try this today and advise.
The Macrobat Manual on routing section B advocates the use of a Loop Back devise.
Whats your tack on that method? Seems cumbersome???
