Hi guys,

I'm happy to join you - great people around here, and few noise.

I have a dream that haunts my mind.... its the idea of having Pulsar in the form of a stand-alone keyboard synth. Something that looks like a keyboard and works like a keyboard, but with the Pulsar engine inside. Maybe with somewhat higher polyphony, say double the voice performance of my Pulsar II.

Something easy to use, also without any computer attached. With the ability to call up different Pulsar devices and an integrated effects section featuring stuff like the MasterVerb...

Something compatible with the Pulsar, which can be custom-configured using some kind of Pulsar routing environment, maybe via USB.

I would expect several types of synthesis, like VA, FM and PM to obtain a variety in tone that kicks the butt of any other keyboard synth around.

Creamware once showed a prototype keyboard with an entire PC inside - too big and still all the hassle of MS Windows. Very expensive as well, I presume. No... something compact, something simple, something affordable.

How about it?
I would want one.

If we sign sufficient orders, maybe they'll do it

Usually people say: "I want a virtual MS2000" or "softsynths can't match my Virus". It's a sign of the way things have pogressed when people want a hardware version of softsynths.

(Yeah, I know Pulsar IS hardware, but you know what I mean... )

Its a good ideal and already Creamware has demoed such a device (picture shows up in the Ideas thread), and I've also put my own request in for it in the New Ideas thread. I suspect they have this idea clearly in their heads at CW headquarters
