In this part of the journey we are in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
In the most infamous milongas the worst tangueros and the tangueras tries to learn the most sensual dance: the tango.
They dance on the note of a very strange music...

This is my experiment with the tango, i manage to play a small accordion accompanied by a 12 strings guitar, my experimental "guitar-cello" an home made Hank Drum", a flute and a toy-clarinet

As usual, don't miss the other videos in my series!!

And, as most of the other tracks, everything is mixed using just Scope plugins.

Welcome home! :)

Now, brother, honestly, this is not tango... It is rather a style that used to exist in france between 1900 and 1920, which is the origin of tango. Anyway, it is a cool song and this is the important thing.

thanks for the explaination! :)
however, i'm not worried so much, because i'm not trying to accurately reproduce anything specific with the music in my serie... just to showcase the instruments and to have some fun.
the important was to get the "idea" of tango :D:D

Well, of course, no problem... :) But living in the country of the tango itself, I had to say something.

I am not a fun of traditional tango but modern tango, like the music comming from Rodolfo Mederos. I did a concert with this musician-composer, a very special one indeed, we made tango-fusion in this ocassion, crazy... :P I'll post you here a few links so you know something about him and modern tango, but he also plays traditional tango:

And this is the VERY traditional tango, the one of the roots itself:
