The spectrum analyzer is so very useful for tuning in channel EQ and master compressors, thank you!

Yes - the spectrum analyzer was just what I've been looking for!

Thank you very much :)

2 months without any new Peter's device was harrRRrd !
:D

Thanks thousands times a lot !

The 'res' input is for reseting vu meters, isn't it ? Is it a audio input ? What kind of signal should we send in it ?

Thanks Peter you are very kind. I find this very easy and informative to use.

Please, check RMS meter. Sinusoidal with peak -19 dB / RMS -22 dB (at another meter) indicated peak = RMS = -19 dB (+3 db RMS probaby for sinusoidal/square normalisation?) For noise with peak -30 dB / RMS -42 dB indicated peak = RMS = -33 dB. Or add controls for meter ballistic (rise/fall/hold/integration time).

Thanks again, Peter!
Just noticed that the analyzer LEDs can be activated with the mouse (click on an LED and move the mouse).

Peter,

I ran some white noise tests to try and troubleshoot an issue (maybe not an issue) I am experiencing with my new DAS compressor pack
http://forums.planetz.com/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=33046
(I would appreciate your input if you have any ... ;)

During this - I used some white noise and got this peculiar output from the ControlPack

Is the ControlPack spectrum display weighted ?

I don't think it is really easy to make real white noise. Maybe I am wrong. If your monitors go low enough you will hear lots of sub bass "blobs" from the Scope white noise generator. Have you tried a sweep?

Yeah, Maybe it's not "oversampled" enough... That's why for the "stereo White noise" in my troubleshooting thread (where I noticed these "dynamic" fluctuations) I used 4 generators (2 for each channel) to average these "perturbations" ....

In any case - they are "blobs" but the reading in the image above stays steady (and is VERY different from the other spectrum analyzer (basically running in parallel ...)

This looks great!
Will this pack also work with the Xite1 - Scope 64Bit?

Thanks!

Yes I use it all the time with W7 64bit and Scooe 5.1. Great meter
