Hi all,
Is this Par Seq going to be unveiled soon? - or ever at all? - Heard about this a while back and was really impressed with this idea having all the soundcard gear that I do......
I did subscribe but heard nothing much - had another look on the website which isn't much further on than before either-!

Just speculating here, (and maybe I read something somewhere here on PlanetZ)
I believe that Julian Schmidt, the developer behind Parseq, is now busy doing more core development for Sonic Core, which might explain why Parseq has been "ignored" for a while now.

ah right that sounds great---more development for S|C - We like that....

but it will be very good to see this sequencer and comparing it to the likes of Cubase/Live/FL Studio/Orion/Reason - In its own way of course----with its own slant and being able to load/launch the synths etc.....directly from within the software-----
Would this be a replacement for thE XTC mode? - I wander - even more of a miracle I got it to work!

I wouldn't expect so much/so soon.
but that's me.
I bless myself with every week that the 3 cards I have running keep working.
So far it was the old Quicksilver mac running the cards on OS9 in the first place which once broke
But for 100 euro I was on track again, including a nice 19# monitor
Xite1?
only when OSX get's supported, and the ## of audio channels at least will be doubled.
Madi and or Copperlan will take care of the latter, but I don't count on OSX support anymore.
If ever it will be after many years, and the same for other main devellopments.
That's what I think, but I know nothing.
Negativ comment?
No, Xite is there for anyone, my cards work, and my 18 DSP's are sufficient for what I'm doing, what else do I want ?
If the old mac didn't make so much noise I wouldn't notice the difference between a given Xite and the mac with the cards.
Just expansion of ADAT channels I could use.
Still planning on that, I hopefully still have a first choice option running

After buying a MacBook Pro and seeing/hearing Logic X, I would love Mac drivers too.
Julian is churning out Solaris w/ JBowen I believe, as there are many guys popping in with new synths as if there were a firesale.
Anytime Julian gets time to do anything we benefit.
Sure would like to see him get staffed or grow a few sets of arms.
