Anyone try this yet? It's pretty fun, very futuristic looking and uses the touch screen effectively, although I am an ipad newbie so it's entirely possible there's a zillion equally cool apps like this out already. One drawback is you can only import the sound files thru itunes. Practical applications?.......well hmmm

Don't have an iPad but I read about that yesterday and it is something iPad users can have a blast with. Wish I had this stuff when I was a kid.

I noticed it, too - but as I already have at least half a dozen 'granular' apps, I didn't attract me.
But it seems to be sold very well... maybe I'll give it a shot anyway.
A must-have for synth fans is Wolfgang Palm's PPG Wave generator - holy crap

imho the best synth engine on the iPad so far and a great user interface.
Makes Wavetable synthesis understandable (and touchable) like never before.
There's an intro trilogy by Wolfgang himself on YouTube, check it out ...
cheers, Tom

yeah, he still is THE man for that stuff...
Borderland reminds me a lot on Curtis, it's more sound atmosphere on the noisy side
for a more musical context you may check out Grain Science
