I finally recieved my XITE-1. Huge thanks to Gary for making it happen.

It was part of the XITE-1 / SDK6 deal. So now the obvious q: where can I download the SDK, is there a key for it, and is it included in the keyfile I recieved?

you need a key from Sonic Core.
The download is here:

of course, sdk 6 isn't yet available
