it seems that the sdk6 is only for the bag o shit windows 7 32bit and 64bit
as i tried seven and it was rubbish i reverted back to xp32 which is rock solid and all plugs work unlike win7
so they got a deal on for developers but its for win 7
so those that are still using xp are f%^&&68cked

I wouldn't assume that the SDK *won't* run on XP.
I would assume that Sonic-Core is not testing it themselves on XP, XP-64, Vista 32b, Vista 64, Win Server 2008, etc. And therefore are only advertising it on what they have tested it for. They are simply supporting the current crop of computers, with a box that is intended to talk over buses that were developed *after* win xp was out of production.
Although, nobody complains that vista isn't mentioned
If you are interested in the SDK, you should look into what the new SDK's dependencies are, and see if they are available on XP. Since the SDK claims far better support for cross-platform development on Win7, Linux, Mac....then I'm guessing those dependencies aren't hard to meet.

I would also assume that the Win 7 32 and 64 bit mention just means that it is the currently supported PC OS but I do not see why Win XP 32 wouldn't work ...
